Students may not be absent from school or leave school early except in the case of illness or with permission obtained from the school. In the event of absence, students should get their parents/guardians to write a note in the school journal.  Students should then show the note to their Year Head. In the event of a student absence, a parent/guardian should make a Vs Ware request for absence. The proposed absence will be visible to the relevant Year Head who will ensure that attendance is updated accordingly.  A student who is leaving school before the conclusion of the school day, will have the details of their absence recorded on VsWare by a parent/guardian and must be collected from the school reception by a parent/guardian. 

Attendance System

Attendance is monitored through the school’s software management system VsWare.  The roll is called in class and parents/guardians will receive a text if their child is not on the roll. This text is sent out between 10 and 10.30 a.m. The system also registers late coming and students will receive a VsWare entry if late without parental consent. You can view your child's attendance through VsWare.
